The EHR Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of the NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) system at medical practice sites, ranging in size from 1 provider to 10 providers. Â The implementation specialist will work directly with the customer to conduct an in-depth workflow analysis, plan the implementation schedule, configure the NextGen EHR software based on practice needs, train medical providers and staff on how to use the software, provide go-live and post-go-live support, and manage change requests from the customer. The implementation specialist may also assist with interfaces and ancillary software related to the EHR, such as Dragon Medically Speaking, Diagnosis Search tools, and NextPen digital technology.
