Letter from our Chief Medical Officer

Greetings! My name is Esther Poza and I am the Chief Medical Officer at TSI Healthcare. We appreciate your consideration of our products and services for your information technology needs.

In addition to my role as CMO at TSI I am a physician in a private practice. Like yourself I am painfully aware of the complexities of managing the business side of a medical office. Many of the most important non-clinical decisions we make are in areas in which we often have the least amounts of experience or training. With this in mind, it is crucial that we partner with knowledgeable, reliable professionals whom we can trust to deliver what they promise and who will work as hard as we do to help make our practices successful.

My relationship with TSI dates back to 2003 when we were first evaluating systems for billing and Electronic Health Records. It was at that time that I first spoke with a TSI representative about an EHR for my small but busy practice. He worked closely with me and my staff and completed a “TSI Feasibility Analysis” to determine if the time was right for me to transition to electronic record keeping.

Following the Feasibility Analysis, the TSI Representative advised me AGAINST investing in an EHR at that time because it was not “cost justifiable”.

How often does a sales representative tell you not to buy their product or service?

We repeated the analysis for my office each of the following two years until the numbers were “right” for me to go paperless. At that time I made the move to EHR and I have been a TSI client and fan ever since.

As a client, I appreciate and count on their relentless commitment to service and support each day. In June 2009 I accepted the invitation to join them as the Chief Medical Officer and now see first-hand how they achieve and maintain their commitment to excellence. I am fortunate in that I now have the best of both worlds, working with this company both as a client AND as an employee.

Dr. Poza is a graduate of Stanford University and received her Medical Degree from the University of Arizona prior to completing her residency at UNC Chapel Hill in Internal Medicine. She is a practicing physician in Durham, NC and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Poza is also the co-founder of Internal Medicine Associates in Durham, NC.
