Position Description:
Although this is a full-time position, candidates seeking to work part-time until graduation in May 2018 will be considered, however the position will require full-time employee attendance at TSI Healthcare’s main office in Chapel Hill, NC upon graduation.

The primary focus of this position is to guide physician practices through the successful navigation of various federal incentive programs including the Meritbased Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and the EHR Incentive Program (Meaningful Use). These programs represent our healthcare systems’ initial transition from Fee for Service to Pay for Quality.

The selected applicant will join an award winning workplace with a unique team of dedicated individuals focused on making a difference one physician practice at time. Thanks to the products and services they will help us deliver, our family of practices will be able to provide care with improved quality, outcomes, coordination, patient participation, and efficiency & cost savings. Their contributions will help make an impact on patients every day. This individual’s role and career will have the opportunity to evolve and grow as new regulations and products are released.

The Clinical Quality & MIPS Specialist’s duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with project coordination, including group trainings and direct contact with clients
  • Merit-Based Improvement System (MIPS): Research, Training, & Follow Up
  • Meaningful Use: Training, Coordination, & Support
  • NextGen EHR Health Quality Measures Module: Implementation, Training, & Support
  • Assisting with federal health IT policy research
  • Answering and solving client questions
  • Assisting other team members
  • Assisting with deployment of future products as they are discovered and released
  • Various other duties as necessary

$42,000 + full-time benefit package


  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience leading large training sessions or have exceptional public speaking skills
  • Experience with customer support or have exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
